The Davenport Education Association sent questionnaires to all of the school board candidates and invited them to a face-to-face interview with the Government Relations committee. Eleven candidates returned the questionnaires and were interviewed by a committee; three candidates chose not to or did not want to be interviewed (Michael DeVol, Mark Holloway, and Kent Paustian). Each candidate received the same questionnaire and was asked the same questions in the interview. The committee chose the four recommended candidates based on responses to the questionnaires and the interview questions. You can read the responses to the questionnaires below, in alphabetical order. The DEA recommends Dan Gosa, Linda Hayes, Jenner Kealey, Karen Kline-Jerome for the Davenport School Board. Be sure to vote on Tuesday, November 5.
